Who We Are
At Earth’s 911, we respond to the problems that matter most. Whenever we identify an issue that demands attention, we commit ourselves to finding solutions that are tangible, thoughtful, and built to last. Our focus is not on temporary fixes, but on meaningful action that creates real change.
At the core of this organization are school-going students, the stakeholders of today and the custodians of tomorrow. We believe that young people are not too early to lead change. They are capable, creative, and deeply aware of the world they are inheriting. This belief drives us to act now, rather than waiting for the future to demand it.
Our Story
In July 2023, Earth’s 911 began with a simple idea and a powerful yet simple name. Three individuals, deeply affected by the world around them, saw both people and the planet in distress. Driven by purpose and urgency, they came together to imagine Earth’s 911 as a not for profit working for the society and the environment.
In 2024, this vision received international recognition when the International Baccalaureate granted Earth’s 911 two thousand eight hundred dollars to support its mission and power its purpose. This milestone reaffirmed the belief that student led action, when guided by intention, can create meaningful impact.
Since then, Earth’s 911 has grown into a close knit family of more than fifteen members and twenty enthusiastic volunteers. What began as an idea has come a long way, continuing to do everything it can to make a difference and work toward a more responsible and sustainable future.
Letter from the founders
When we look around, we see children our age who are exactly like us. Yet many of them grow up in a very different world. A world where opportunities are unequal, education is a luxury, and freedom is uncertain. That reality stayed with us and made us question our own place in it.
At the same time, one thought kept returning to us. The Earth does not belong to us. We belong to the Earth. And in all our belonging, we have caused more harm than care. To the planet, to communities, and often to one another.
Knowing this, we could not stay idle. We felt a responsibility to act, not just for the environment but for people and society as a whole. We wanted to contribute in the best way we could, with the resources and capacity we had. That intention became Earth’s 911.
Earth’s 911 was born from the belief that compassion must lead to action. Our work focuses on supporting children, strengthening communities, and protecting the planet, with education, wellbeing, and awareness at the core of what we do.
This mission is bigger than us. We are building a community of passionate volunteers who believe that collective effort can create real change. If you want to be a part of that change too, volunteer with us and help build a future rooted in care, action, and impact.
