Our initiatives fall under the SDG framework, driving measurable change across key areas:

Health & Wellbeing

Blood donation drives, thalassemia support.

Problem

Currently the not-for-profit is dedicating the foreseeable month to the disease – thalassemia. A genetic disorder, during which an important pigment – hemoglobin is not produced by the body. The patients require the supply of blood on regular intervals. However, people from rural areas, particularly the underprivileged ones, are unable to fulfill the need of blood timely, victimizing themselves of severe consequences.

Solution

To address the issue of insufficiency of blood, Earth’s 911 hosted a blood donation camp in collaboration with Surat Raktadan Kendra and collected 15+ liters of blood. Through the event Earth’s 911 was able to take a step towards helping the people in need get access to blood.
